It's actually funny, instead of just...omgEMOTIONAL like 99% of shoujo.
Like, I was watching it, expecting it to be the usual shojo yaoi stuff that it so wonderfully parodies, but THEN Haruhi turns out to be a GIRL! </spoiler>
It is seriously big news when I see het relationships in a shojo anime
Also, Tamaki is what happens when you mix Ron and Draco together. Who wouldn't love that?
Tamaki is like Draco+Ron+Gilderoy Lockhart.
It's full of het! I love it. All the boys are het, which is absolutely amazing.
