Narn i Chîn Húrin~ “Tale of the Children of Húrin”

This has been my favorite story since it destroyed my 12-year-old soul eight years ago.
Recently, I reread it—and it’s no less affecting.

So I’ve decided to take on a concept art mini-project illustrating it and pretending it’s a movie.

Tolkien’s writings of the first age leave a lot of room for interpretation with most secondary and minor characters, so this is simply my take on them. Turin, his best buddy, and his little sis have more complete concepts than the others, since they were done first.
I don’t know if or when I’ll get around to the rest of the project, but I would love to be able to have a nice set of example works from it.
