Do they end up having anything romantic in the books? Because if they did it would be really cute.

Errr, they have some really cute scenes, and a nice dynamic, but nothing super romantic. It's still enough for most people to ship them, though haha.

I´m reading now Storm of Swords, and I love Gendry. He matchs a lot with Arya, both are so stubborn... I wish someday they could end up together, it would be great *w* But aSoIaF is not a happy saga, so probably it won´t be more than a wish...
